I didn't go to huffingtonpost.com on purpose, I just clicked on a link and was told that I had to prove my worth if I wanted to "join" those at this hallowed website:

You're welcome to join us.

Assuming you can prove you deserve to.

As I scanned the page, unaccustomed as I am to being condescended to  on a website, I began to realize that I was in unfamiliar territory.

Oh.

This is the website I've been reading about but have not wanted to experience, and here I am, in bad-ville.

Bottom Line: The U.S. economy has never been more energy efficient than it is today, and it just keeps getting more and more efficient every year as we find ways to produce more and more output with less and less energy. Amid all of the gloom and doom, this seems like something to celebrate. Over time, we're not becoming energy gluttons, we're actually becoming energy misers.

Scientists Prove What Everybody Already Knew (Again)

Guess What. Children Take a Toll on Marital Bliss:

"Couples who do not have children also show diminished marital quality over time," says Scott Stanley, research professor of psychology at DU. "However, having a baby accelerates the deterioration, especially seen during periods of adjustment right after the birth of a child."

As we used to say, "Duh."  What would we do without taxpayer funded research?
